VPL are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK housebuilder for a Site Administrator to support an exciting residential scheme on the Cambridge/Norfolk border. You'll take ownership of document control across the full lifecycle of the build — keeping records accurate, up to date, properly filed, and available to the right people at the right time, all in line with company process and contractual sign-off standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Logging incoming and outgoing plot certificates against the Completion Tracker and following each through to close-out.
  • Submitting certification to building control and the warranty provider to keep pace with the build programme.
  • Keeping the Customer Care Tracker current, and arranging access with residents or owners so reported issues can be inspected and resolved.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors to book in remedial visits for customer care items.
  • Carrying out meter readings and handling the documentation around key release.
  • Inspecting void properties.
  • Keeping the Completion Tracker updated on plot progress — landscaping, fencing, and similar external works.
  • Confirming plots are ready before completion videos are recorded.
  • Uploading site records to Viewpoint (or an equivalent document control platform).

What we're looking for:

  • 2–5 years' experience in administration or document control.
  • Excellent record-keeping and organisational skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Confident across Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable juggling competing deadlines without losing accuracy.
  • Strong communicator, equally happy working solo or as part of a project team.
  • Sound judgement, discretion, and a professional approach to confidential information.

This is a great chance to join the team behind one of Norfolk's flagship new-build developments, with one of the UK's fastest-growing housebuilders. Working Pattern: Site-based, 08:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday with regular contact with the wider project team. Occasional site visits and project meetings should be expected. There is an immediate start available for the right person, so if this sounds like your next move, get in touch - we'd love to hear from you.
