Windows System Engineer

To achieve it, we are looking for a System Engineer to join the team.

Your role within Advisority:

1. Install and administer Windows Server, VMware Aria (vRealize/vROPS), MSSQL Cluster and Active Directory;
2. Design, build and improve workflows for automating server deployments, maintenance and operations;
3. Transition traditional infrastructure into a cloud-ready environment and integrate cloud services;
4. Ensure standardized and automated configurations and administrative processes;
5. Handle 2nd level support for service requests, troubleshoot faults and analyze root causes;
6. Participate in managing configuration items within the infrastructure;
7. Monitor adherence to SLAs, security policies and infrastructure regulations;
8. Distribute software and apply patches/security updates;
9. Ensure optimal performance and availability of system infrastructure;
10. Install, configure and test Windows OS tools and software according to documented procedures;
11. Maintain and update manuals, job descriptions and procedures while recommending improvements;
12. Support technical leads in generating reports and keeping stakeholders informed;
13. Occasionally provide after-hours support and document related activities.

What sets you apart:

1. Demonstrated previous experience with Windows Server installation, configuration and troubleshooting;
2. Administration of Windows Fileserver Cluster;
3. Management of Active Directory;
4. Administration of VMWare Aria (vRealize / vROPS);
5. Management of Exchange Server;
6. Good knowledge of administrating MSSQL servers;
7. Certifications in the above areas and experience in the development and implementation of hardening guidelines are an advantage.
