Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Teacher to work in an SEN School in Evesham on a full-time basis. Hours 0830-3.30pm Monday-Friday.

A Specialist all through school based in Evesham for children and young people aged from 3-19 with moderate to complex needs with the aim of providing high quality education. Children have a range of diagnoses and special needs, including Autism, Physical Disabilities, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The schools’ key goals are to foster a well-rounded, supportive educational environment, providing opportunities for students to express their ideas creatively and constructively to help build their confidence. Teaching life skills, promoting empathy, social responsibility, and community involvement which will help students develop into caring, responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
About you:
- Qualified Teacher Status with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit pupils of all abilities, while building strong rapport.
- Experience working with students who have additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Communication disorders.
- PGCE or QTS.
- A strong understanding of how to engage with students within lessons and tailor learning to fit their individual needs.
- A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
