Vision for Education is recruiting an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Newcastle, providing vital classroom support and gaining valuable, paid experience in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in to cover staff absence across a range of subjects, delivering pre-set work and ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils. You will work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting learners of all abilities and backgrounds. The schools we work with believe that every child, regardless of their starting point, deserves access to a broad and balanced curriculum. Their innovative approaches to learning are designed to help students grow into confident, inquisitive individuals who feel valued, supported, and respected.
Requirements- A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working or volunteering with young people
- Experience supporting students aged 11–16
- A genuine desire to be part of a committed secondary education team
- A passion for education and the confidence to manage a classroom environment
- A degree (essential)
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this role is a degree and at least 6 weeks’ experience working or volunteering with children.
