About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviours, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs. You will work closely with class teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to:
- Support pupils with communication, interaction and emotional regulation
- Deliver tailored learning activities in a structured, nurturing environment
- Promote independence, life skills and positive behaviour
- Build meaningful relationships that help pupils thrive

If you are going into this role as a Trainee Learning Support Assistant, Vision for Education will provide you with additional training courses to complete after a successful interview, which include Safeguarding and Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and an Introduction into being a Teaching Assistant.
