Welsh Speaking Primary Teaching Assistant

Key Details:

  • Position: Welsh Speaking Primary Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Llanelli
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • Start Date: Sept 26

What You\'ll Do:

  • Engage Pupils: Work on a 1:1 and small group basis to support pupils in their learning
  • Assist Teachers: Help the class teacher with various tasks and prepare for the day
  • Supervise: Oversee children during lunch breaks
  • Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative tasks as needed
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to the school\'s dynamic team and culture
  • Passion for Education: Be committed to providing the best educational experience for children

Requirements:

  • Fluent Welsh Speaker: Essential for working in a Welsh medium primary school
  • Enthusiastic: Passionate about education and supporting pupils
  • Supportive: Interested in helping pupils overcome learning barriers
  • Experienced: Experience working with children and young people
  • Behaviour Management: Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Professional Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Educational Background: Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT proficiency
