We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support young people in a college setting in Wakefield. The role initially starts via Vision for Education on a daily rate with a strong possibility of a permanent contract after 12 weeks. Candidates are needed immediately for our supply register.

Qualifications

  • Relative experience within the last 3 years that enables us to gain professional, performance‑based references.
  • Enthusiastic and able to build a rapport with students.
  • Resilient, flexible, and able to think quickly on your feet to adapt to challenging situations.
  • Willing to work in a college‑based environment with young adults who have learning disabilities, starting from age 14.

Hours are from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm and Monday to Friday are available.
