About the role:

As a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced staff to support pupils with a range of learning needs. You’ll receive ongoing training and mentorship, gaining practical experience while developing the skills required to progress in the SEN education sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the learning and development of pupils with SEN in a classroom setting.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learners.
  • Help with personal care and mobility needs, where necessary.
  • Observe and report on student progress to teachers and SENCOs.
