Vision for Education are currently seeking passionate teaching assistants to work in our client secondary schools in York. Whether it’s flexible day to day supply work you’re looking for or something longer term, Vision for Education could have the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:- Supporting teachers wherever necessary when conducting lessons, including helping to set up at the start of the day.
- Helping to ensure that the classroom is safe at all times and facilitates student development.
- Providing academic and behavioural support to students to aid their progress.
- Providing valuable feedback to teachers about student progress.
- Hold or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
- A passion for working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a school setting (advantageous but not a necessity).
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.)
