Vision for Education are recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to work across welcoming primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, Hanley, and surrounding areas. With schools already planning for September, demand is building for reliable Teaching Assistants looking for flexible supply work, short-term bookings, or long-term placements. The Role

  • Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 classrooms
  • Deliver 1:1 support and small-group interventions
  • Assist children with additional needs, including SEND where required
  • Support behaviour, engagement, and learning outcomes
  • Work closely with class teachers and school staff
  • Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children in a school, education, or similar setting
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, HLTA status, or relevant classroom experience

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A reliable, professional, and adaptable approach
