About the Role:
I am actively looking for a driven and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in North Somerset. This will be to work on a 1:1 basis with SEN students who will have either ADHD, ASC, learning difficulties, challenging behaviours, SEMH or physical disabilities. A successful candidate will be supporting students of KS1 and KS2 ages to enhance their learning and development. The role will involve lots of encouragement and behaviour management, ensuring students are engaged in their lessons. You will need to have outstanding communication and people skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the class Teachers and other Teaching Assistants
- Adopt the school's values and contribute towards the school's principles and culture
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of children
- Be passionate about the work you do and wanting the best for the children
- Provide a high standard of work, resulting in the best education for the children
- Be a strong authoritative figure who positively manages challenging behaviour
- Great standard of education yourself
