As a Design Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their creativity, problem‑solving abilities and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high‑quality Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop practical, creative and technical skills.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure health and safety procedures are followed within the workshop.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential).
- Experience teaching Design Technology within UK secondary schools.
- Ability to teach one or more Design Technology specialisms, such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or Graphics.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A creative, practical and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- A genuine passion for Design Technology and helping students develop valuable life skills.
