Vision for Education are expanding our network of Cover Supervisors to support a variety of welcoming secondary schools across Doncaster and surrounding areas. About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for supervising lessons, supporting students, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
- Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and engagement
- Supporting students to stay focused and complete set work
- Assisting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs where required
- Recording lesson feedback and student progress for teaching staff
- Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who enjoy working with young people. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience working in a secondary school, youth setting, or coaching environment
- A basic understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in managing groups of students
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
- A driving licence or reliable access to transport (preferred)
