We are seeking a number of part-time and day-to-day Teaching Assistants to work at our partner schools in and around York.

This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking work for the upcoming academic year. We can offer flexible working hours and a diary which you can update weekly, meaning you choose when you work – fit your hours around university and other commitments.

Role & responsibilities

We work with a number of specialist schools providing education for children with barriers to learning including autism, mental and medical health issues, challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.

You will be in a classroom-based role, working 1-1 and with small groups of students. Your day-to-day duties will involve assisting with work and activities, supporting students’ wellbeing and development, and helping the class teacher and other support staff to cultivate a supportive, friendly atmosphere for children.
