Vision for Education is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to support children across nurseries and early years settings in the Stoke-on-Trent area. If you have experience working with young children and are passionate about supporting early development, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
- Support children within nursery and early years settings in line with the EYFS framework
- Work closely with room leaders and early years staff to create a safe, engaging environment
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to aid development and learning
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development
- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
This role offers flexibility, with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
- Have experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Be confident supporting children’s development and behaviour
- Possess a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
- Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting young learners
