The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings in Stockport and the local surrounding area.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for leading classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre‑set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You’ll support students with their work, manage behaviour effectively, complete registers, and provide clear handover information to teaching staff.
A variety of short‑term, long‑term, and potential permanent opportunities are available, offering flexibility and a strong work‑life balance. This role is ideal for confident classroom professionals looking for consistent work within education.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools
- Confidence managing classrooms and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting young people’s learning and development
- Suitable references, hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS, and right to work in the UK
