Have you recently completed your teaching training and yet to secure a teaching position? Vision for Education have recently been approached by a client primary school based in Stafford. The school are looking for an ECT to join their KS2 team from September 2026. You will be taking on all teaching duties within a Year 4 class on a full-time basis. The school are looking for someone who can commit to a 1-year contract in the first instance, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right teacher.

The Role

Joining our ECT Pool gives you access to exclusive teaching opportunities in your local area. In the meantime, whilst you are completing your training or waiting for your QTS to be awarded, we can also offer Teaching Assistant opportunities, allowing you to gain experience across different schools and find the right long-term fit ahead of September 2026.

Vision for Education works with a range of Good and Outstanding primary schools across Stafford and the surrounding areas, many of whom will be recruiting for September 2026 starts.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Have recent experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
- Be confident delivering and marking work
- Be able to build strong rapport with colleagues and pupils
- Have excellent organisation and time management skills
- Have knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards obtaining QTS
- Be able to provide 2 years of references covering education/employment, including placements
- Have a genuine passion for working with children
- Be flexible and adaptable to working across a variety of schools
- Driving is desirable but not essential
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.

- Recent relevant school-based experience
