We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach on behalf of secondary schools based in and around the Lancaster area. The Sports Coach role would be due to start immediately with the possibility of ad-hoc/flexible, short and long term contracts. The desired Sports Coach will have passion for the subject who will have the responsibility of delivering PE and general cover lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful Sports Coach will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others.
This role will also help to transfer your skills to the classroom to assist with general cover throughout the school. Training and support will be provided in this area.
*This position could be for a person who is keen to become a teacher and wanting more experience within a secondary setting. This can work around your personal circumstances, for example alongside your studies, another job or on a full-time basis.

To be considered for the role of School Sports Coach you will:
- Have recent experience coaching or teaching Sport/PE
- Be committed and keen to become a strong and supportive team member
- Have experience of 5 days or more of working with children
- Recent coaching or teaching experience in sports with under 16s
