We are seeking an organised, reliable and proactive Admin Officer to join the team at a specialist SEMH school in Southend-on-Sea. This is a key role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and providing essential administrative support to staff, pupils and families. The successful candidate will be professional, approachable and able to work calmly and efficiently in a busy school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-of-house reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering calls
- Manage general office administration, including emails, correspondence and filing
- Maintain accurate pupil records and data systems
- Support attendance monitoring and safeguarding processes
- Assist with diary management, meetings and school communications
- Liaise with parents/carers, staff and external agencies
- Support finance, HR and ordering processes where required
