Looking to further your career in SEND? Vision for Education are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Creative Art Assistant to join our supply register. We work with SEN schools across Somerset to provide high quality supply staff on adhoc, short term or long term bookings. Location: Bridgwater and surrounding area. When: ASAP. Pay: £14.24 p/h.

Responsibilities

The School and Role: Vision For Education are looking to appoint a Creative Art Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, Autism and other Learning Difficulties in Weston-Super-Mare. An ideal candidate for the role of Creative Art Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills. The desired Creative Art Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant will have a passion for working with young people and be able to build rapport quickly, supporting young people in making positive choices.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • An ability to build rapport quickly with students.

Key qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed.
