Primary Supply Teachers (SEND) Sheffield and surrounding areas. Part Time & Full Time work available. Flexible start dates. Paid to scale / Daily rates varied based on experience & qualification.

To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher, you will need to:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism.
  • Experience working with children with a variety of SEND including but not limited to, MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
  • Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

In this role you will work with the most vulnerable students, advancing their education in lessons and in wider school life. The role will require you to engage with pupils who have needs such as MLD, ASC, ADHD, SLD and SEMH. The right candidate must be confident within the classroom and dealing with challenging behaviours.
