We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a large primary school in Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting a group of children with autistic traits. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school has recently been rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted. Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching and children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
