The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds (LS26) to start Full-Time basis from September. Working in this Primary school as part of an established team, the desired 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant will be working 1-2-1 predominantly with a pupil in KS1 with speech and learning difficulties. The child also has physcial difficulties so experience of supporting a child with SEND would be ideal. There will also be an element of personal care too. You must be caring, nurturing and a calm presence in the classroom. You will be provided in-house training and play a big part in the progress, attainment and care for this child. You will be great at building appropriate relationships with pupils as a result. If you come from a care background and looking to gain more experience in a primary setting, this could be for you.
This 2 form primary school is located in LS8. It is a very supportive and welcoming environment where children\'s needs are well catered for. The successful candidate will have the neccessary SEND experience as well as experience of working with primary aged pupils.
