About the role

SEN Supply Teaching Assistant (PMLD) £85.50 - £87 per day depending on experience, duration of assignment, training and qualifications. Batley. Flexible start dates with immediate opportunities - full and part time, temporary.

We are seeking supportive, nurturing, creative and inspirational teaching assistants who can provide an individualised and highly personalised learning for their unique class of pupils. This role in particular is supporting children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs.

The School and Role

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a number of specialist schools within Batley to work with children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs. This role is due to commence ASAP. Vision for Education can offer full and part time roles or daily supply that suits your needs. Children are likely to be working at levels below those typically expected for their age.

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, you will:
  • Be able to undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
  • Have demonstrable experience of supporting and achieving exceptional outcomes with SEND learners within a mainstream or Special Needs setting.
  • Have experience of moving and handling/hoisting in a care/school setting.
  • Driving is not essential but advised.
