Overview
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Lancaster area for a start in immediately.

The desired Cover Supervisor be working within a school environment and be supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence. Delivering pre-planned lessons, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into teaching or working within a school.
This is role has a flexible starting position and can be either ad-hoc, short term or ongoing long-term position for whatever suits your availability.
You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any previous role (youth worker, sports coach, support worker, voluntary etc).
Training can also be provided to help develop behaviour management techniques to use in the classroom.

- Have a passion for working with children
- Great classroom management skills
- Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching
- Ideally a degree, but this is not essential
