The School and Role
A welcoming, well-established primary academy in Kettering is seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. Working after school hours from 3:30pm, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, replenishing supplies, and reporting any maintenance concerns. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous cleaning experience in a school environment
Ability to operate standard and industrial cleaning equipment
Understanding of health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations
A reliable, professional, and security-conscious attitude
Good communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
