The requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have previous experience within a SEND setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s and embrace each school’s unique ethos
  • Have an enthusiasm for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
  • Additional SEND training such as Team Teach, Mappa, Makaton, PECS, moving and handling is highly desirable
