Full Time – Monday – Friday – 8:30am – 3:30pm (Temporary, to permanent full time)

Pay to scale – £175 – £325 per day (pay depends on experience, training or qualifications)
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS and experience working with students with special educational needs and behaviours that challenge.

The role:
- As a SEND Teacher, you will support the class in the delivery of lessons, whilst also providing support and guidance to the students in a variety of learning needs.
- Working with students with special educational needs is an extremely rewarding environment, but it can be challenging to understand each student’s needs; therefore this role benefits from consistency and continuity.
- Ideally you will have experience working with social, emotional and mental health needs of children or young adults, ASD, ADHD, MLD and emotional behaviour difficulties.

- Based in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ SEND provision in the Rotherham area, the school caters for needs including but not limited to SEMH, ASC, ADHD, MLD and EBD.
- This school is passionate about providing the best quality of education, care and specialist support for all its pupils and puts them at the centre of everything it does.
- The school caters for children in primary years all the way through to secondary (KS1 – KS5). This particular role will be based in a secondary aged classroom.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary with a subject specialism – ideally Maths and/or English.
- Experience working with children with a variety of SEND, including but not limited to MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASD/SEMH/SEBD/PD/VI/HI and other complex needs.
- Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSAs.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Ideally be Team Teach trained or willing to undertake a course free of charge through us.
