Vision For Education are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Preston Secondary school. This is a full‑time term‑time position with flexible start dates.
About the role
Are you a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor looking for a step up to Higher Level Teaching Assistant? We are working in partnership with a Secondary School based in Preston who are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join them with flexible start dates. As a HLTA, you will connect directly with the students helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. The purpose of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant is to support the Class Teacher with all elements of the day to day running of the class and to teach from pre‑set work across full classes, groups and individual lessons in consultation with the Class Teacher on a regular basis across a range of classes across Key Stage 3 & 4. Experience is desirable but not essential, as we can offer a free bespoke training programme, to assist you with the delivery of work to a full class, classroom and behaviour management and establishing effective classroom routines.

Requirements
- Experience as a HLTA or Cover Supervisor preferred
