Vision for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school to recruit a dedicated Teacher of History. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact in a thriving school environment.
This role is a temporary maternity cover position until at least May 2027, with the potential to be extended. The school is a well-regarded secondary setting in Preston, Lancashire, known for its supportive leadership and positive learning environment. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to develop their career in a dynamic school.
As a Teacher of History, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for inspiring young people and delivering high-quality lessons
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
