About the role
One to One (1:1) Teaching Assistant - (Part Time, Temporary/Permanent) Pontefract £350- £400 per week February 2026- August 2026
The School and Role:
Well established schools, based in Pontefract, are looking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Working at a mainstream Primary school with KS2 pupils with ASD and ADHD. This is a varied role that will require flexibility and a can-do attitude. The 1:1 Teaching Assistant role will include a mixture of full classroom support and one-to-one support depending on the need of the student at the time.
Requirements:
- Have experience working with children that have additional needs
- Have a patient and caring nature
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
