Vision for Education are working alongside a school in Durham to recruit for a PMLD Teaching Assistant to work with their students who have Profound and Multiple Learning needs. This will be a full time supply role, starting in September 2025.

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will need to have sound knowledge of the challenges young people face, excellent communication skills and ideally hold a moving and handling qualification.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of all SEND pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
