Vision for Education are seeking a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Peterborough. This role offers flexibility so you can prioritise work life balance. Opportunities for long-term placements are also available for the right candidate.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and resources
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent experience working in a primary school setting
- Confidence supporting pupils with SEN
- Strong communication skills
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through us
