Vision for Education are seeking a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Peterborough. This role offers flexibility so you can prioritise work life balance. Opportunities for long-term placements are also available for the right candidate.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and resources
  • Help maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Recent experience working in a primary school setting
  • Confidence supporting pupils with SEN
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through us
