We are currently looking for a SEND Education Support Assistant to join our team and work within specialist schools in Durham. This role offers the chance to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils overcome barriers to learning. Every day will bring new challenges and rewards, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in SEND education.
The ideal SEND Education Support Assistant will have:
