Vision for Education Cardiff is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for a range of day-to-day and long-term supply opportunities across Newport and surrounding areas. We work closely with a large network of primary schools throughout Newport and are currently experiencing high demand for qualified Primary Teachers across the Foundation Phase through to Key Stage 2.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to support a range of learning abilities and needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally
  • Mark and assess pupils’ work in line with school policies
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and carers

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Be available on a full-time or part-time basis
  • Have a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
  • Deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales and National Curriculum guidance
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be organised and confident with planning and marking
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated in your teaching approach
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, although not essential.
