National Teaching Assistant Programme (Full-time/Part-time, Temporary)

Vision for Education is offering this exciting opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We collaborate with our client schools to provide successful Trainee Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience. This programme is suitable for candidates without prior experience working with children or a childcare/teaching assistant qualification but who are eager to start a career in the classroom.
Programme details:
After a successful interview and completion of safeguarding and identity checks, we will secure a paid placement in a school to develop your skills. You will be guided to identify your preferred area within EYFS, KS1, KS2, secondary school, or SEND provision.
Before starting your placement, you will undertake comprehensive training delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the smooth operation of schools. Effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting children\’s daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.
The specific duties of a Teaching Assistant vary by school. Tasks may include supporting the teacher during lessons, running small group interventions, or working one-on-one to meet individual children\’s needs and promote their development.
