About the Role

  • Deliver 1:1 tuition for students unable to attend mainstream education
  • Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Deliver Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level
  • Sessions range from 1–5 hours per day, from 2 to 5 days per week
  • Flexible working across different settings, including students’ homes, libraries, or school sites
  • Long-term placements to provide consistency and structure for students
  • Work alongside social workers, SEN teams, and other professionals to support and feedback on student progress

Requirements

  • Teaching qualification (e.g QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEND students
  • Confident delivering Maths and English
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Passion for supporting young people
