We pride ourselves on supplying strong and dedicated support staff into schools we partner with, to ensure the students’ learning and development needs are met. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join our primary team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (including SEND, where applicable)
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
- Assist with playground supervision and school activities when required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
- A positive, patient, and caring attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – desirable)
