Vision for Education are currently looking for a confident and committed Year 4 Teacher to work in a popular and well regarded Junior school in the March area. This role is would be well suited to teachers with recent experience of teaching at key stage 2 level, someone who is looking to build a safe, settled and high achieving class identity with their own class. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in literacy and numeracy, and be confident in managing the expectations and responsibilities of a Year 4 class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Upper KS2 curriculum (Year 4)
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and presentation.
  • Work effectively with support staff and follow school policies and routines.

Key Requirements

  • Secure understanding of the Year 4 / Upper KS2 curriculum
  • Experience or confidence in teaching Year 4 is desirable.
  • Ability to motivate and challenge pupils of varying abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Professional, flexible, and reliable approach.

Essential Criteria

In order to be short listed for this role you must:

  • Hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be able to provide two recent references to support your recent teaching experience
  • Be entitled to work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Salary

£675 to £800 per week. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: QTS.
