Vision for Education are currently looking for a motivated Primary teacher to take on a Year 1 class for a full academic year, beginning in September 2026.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a key stage 1 teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused school and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to a Year 1 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
