Vision for Education are currently looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a large, well regarded Primary school in March.

About the role:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full time)
  • March, Cambridgeshire
  • £93 to £100 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
  • This role will begin in June 2026 (we also have opportunities beginning in September 2026)

The School and Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
  • Promote inclusion and support the emotional and social development of pupils.
  • Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
