As a SEN Tutor/Teaching Assistant working with pupils with Autism, you will be responsible for supporting them in the classroom and beyond. You will need to be prepared for every day to be a different and unique challenge. This could include aspects such as active outside learning, 1:1 work, emotional support and even the opportunity to take pupils outside of school on trips.

This school is a dedicated Alternative Provision school with a specialism in Autism who works with children who have struggled in mainstream. They offer a specialised curriculum to each individual pupil to best suit their needs and ensure they are getting the most out of each day. This school offers regular training sessions to staff to help develop a positive team ethos and always increasing knowledge and awareness around a variety of subjects.

Salary

£415 to £700 per week. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • To hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to process one with us
  • To have previous experience working with children or young people
