Vision for Education is currently looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a large, popular and forward-thinking primary school in the March area.
About the role
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full time)
- Pay £93 to £100 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
- This role will begin in September 2026 and is for at least two terms. There is a strong possibility that this role could become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
- Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to teachers
- Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment
- Promote inclusion and support the emotional and social development of pupils
- Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
