ECT Secondary Teachers – Long-Term Roles

Greater Manchester

£145–£168.80 per day

Start: Summer Term or September 2026

Finishing your PGCE/QTS and looking to secure your first long-term role? We’re working with a range of supportive secondary schools across Greater Manchester seeking ECTs for long-term placements, with opportunities to continue into permanent roles. Day‑to‑day supply is also available, but the focus is on consistent, longer‑term positions where you can settle in and develop.

The Role

  • Deliver lessons across your subject at KS3–KS4 (KS5 where relevant)
  • Take on full classroom responsibilities in long‑term placements
  • Build relationships with students and staff
  • Plan, mark, and contribute to the department where required

What We’re Looking For

  • ECTs completing PGCE/QTS in 2026
  • Strong subject knowledge in your specialism
  • Confident classroom presence
  • Keen to secure a long‑term position

What You’ll Get
