Unqualified Classroom Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time) South Liverpool £92.56 - £100 a day (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Become a Trainee Teaching Assistant. No previous experience or qualifications are required — just a genuine desire to help and support children. Vision for Education are delighted to offer a bespoke Trainee Teaching Assistant Programme, designed to support motivated individuals into the education sector. We work closely with our partner schools across South Liverpool to provide high-quality training alongside paid, on-the-job experience.

Following a successful interview and subject to safeguarding and identity checks, we will support you in securing a paid placement within a school, where you can continue to develop your skills and confidence. You will be supported in identifying your preferred specialist area, including EYFS, KS1, KS2, Secondary or SEND settings. Before starting your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training programme delivered by Vision for Education and experienced school leaders, equipping you with the essential skills needed to succeed as a Teaching Assistant.

The Role: Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the smooth running of a school. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the class teacher during whole‑class teaching
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils to help them reach their full potential
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
