We are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in the Southport area of Sefton, recognised for its welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment. The school is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teachers to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis from June 2026.
In this role, you will deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, providing high-quality cover during teachers’ PPA time. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to broaden their experience across different year groups while becoming part of a collaborative and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Ensure continuity of learning during teachers’ PPA release time
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Maintain strong behaviour management and a productive classroom environment
- Follow school policies and uphold the school’s values and expectations
- Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system
- Pension contributions
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
