The Role

Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable

Teachers of Social Sciences to work across a variety of secondary schools in Birmingham.

We are looking for teachers with experience teaching subjects such as

PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, Religious Education, Citizenship and related social science subjects .

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an

Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we have a range of opportunities available.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, following school schemes of work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

Vision for Education works with a wide range of secondary schools across Birmingham, including academies, maintained schools and multi-academy trusts.

Requirements

The successful Social Sciences Teacher will have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A recognised PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
  • Experience teaching

PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, RE, Citizenship or related subjects .

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting students and their learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

ECTs are welcome to apply!
