Β£14 – Β£15 per-hour (rate is dependent on experience)

The School and Role

We are seeking a caring and experienced Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant for a part-time, long-term role starting in September 2025 within a supportive primary school in the Sefton area. This position involves working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of strategies to support children with additional needs, a patient and nurturing approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted interventions, supporting learning in the classroom, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment. Requirements

Desirable for this Learning Support Assistant role:

  • Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis
