Overview: Office Administrator – Leatherhead – Β£450 - Β£500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) – February 26 – ongoing.

The School and Role: To support an independent pre-preparatory primary school by providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service. The Office Administrator will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors, and external agencies, ensuring all enquiries are handled in an appropriate and effective manner. The role involves managing the day-to-day running of the school office and reception, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth flow of communication across the school. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy office environment, be highly organised, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. The Office Administrator must be able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, handle a high volume of information, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.

Requirements: The ideal Office Administrator will have:

  • Previous paid experience in an administrative or receptionist-based role
  • Have, or be willing to pay for, an Enhanced DBS check and register on the Update Service
  • Be available to work during school hours
  • Experience working in UK schools (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
