Vision for Education are working in partnership with a large and inclusive secondary school in Hull to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive and forward‑thinking English department within a well‑regarded school environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis before transitioning onto a permanent contract directly with the school.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
  • Be confident teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Be committed to supporting the progress and wellbeing of young people
